The H20 timber beam is an engineered wood I-joist specifically designed for formwork and falsework systems. It features a height of 200mm, flange width of 80mm, and web thickness of 27mm with end radii of R5. The beam weighs only 5.0kg per meter, making it easy to handle on site. Its I-section provides excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio. The flanges are made from high-grade LVL or finger-jointed solid wood, while the web is typically plywood or OSB. All components are bonded under pressure to ensure structural integrity.

 Load Capacity & Structural Performance

This H20 beam has been tested to EN 13377 standards. It offers a permissible maximum bending moment of 5.0kN·m and a permissible maximum shear force of 11.0kN. The moment of inertia (Ix) is 4290cm4, which gives the beam outstanding resistance to deflection. The flange-web connection uses a mechanical engagement (interlocking) that significantly increases the beam's damage resistance compared to simple glued joints. This allows the beam to carry heavy concrete loads over spans up to 5-6 meters without excessive sagging.

Durability & Applications
